Despite being off of TNA television for an unknown period of time due to personal issues, JEFF HARDY was victorious in tonight’s 2011 MATCH MADNESS contest, defeating Rey Mysterio and then John Cena in the Final Four to win the first ever IN THE ROOM title, which will now be defended whenever Hardy wrestles a match on Impact. On a side note, Santino Marella played the role of Temple University, which never deserves to get as far as it does, making it all the way to the Final Four before being derailed by John Cena.

I used a pair of dice (1-3 or 4-6, first one to three). If competitors are separated in rank by more than 10 spots, an advantage is given to the higher-ranked wrestler (1-4 or 5-6, first one to three).

The winner of the 2011 MATCH MADNESS BRACKET PICKS CONTEST – AND HIS OR HER PRIZE – WILL BE ANNOUNCED THIS MONDAY ON IN THE ROOM!!!

Here are the detailed Match Madness Results:

This week, AUSTIN ARIES–the #8 competitor in ECWA’s Super 8 tournament in Voorhees, NJ–steps IN THE ROOM with Brady Hicks, Kevin, and Young John to talk about the tournament, what it will mean in the grander scheme of his career, and where his career might be headed following his rumored dismissal from WWE Tough Enough and rumored impending retirement. All that, plus WrestleMania talk heats up, and Brady gets heated talking about Tommy. Apologies for the language — you can only be pushed so much. It was mostly contained to the end of the show.
